Publication Model
The Journal of Economics, Governance and Sustainable Development (JEGSD) operates a continuous publication model within biannual issues to ensure the timely dissemination of high-quality scholarly research.
1. Continuous Publication within Biannual Issues
Under this model:
- Articles are published online immediately upon acceptance
- Each article is assigned to the current issue in progress (January–June or July–December)
- Publication does not depend on completing a full issue
- Articles become available to readers as soon as they are ready
This approach enhances the speed, accessibility, and impact of scholarly communication.
2. Volume Structure
The journal publishes one volume per calendar year, with all articles published within that year grouped under the same volume.
Examples:
- Volume 1 (2026)
- Volume 2 (2027)
3. Issue Organization
Each volume is divided into two issues per year:
- Issue 1: January–June
- Issue 2: July–December
Articles are published continuously and assigned to the appropriate issue upon acceptance. Each article is assigned:
- A unique article identifier
- A publication date
- A volume and issue designation
This ensures proper organization for indexing, citation, and retrieval.
4. Online-Only Publication
JEGSD is an online-only journal:
- No print version is produced
- All articles are published on the journal website
- Content is accessible globally without restriction
5. Open Access Policy
JEGSD follows a full open-access publishing model:
- All articles are freely available immediately upon publication
- No subscription or payment is required to access content
- Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, or use the articles for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, provided proper attribution is given
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
6. Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure:
- Academic quality
- Objectivity
- Integrity
Editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly merit and relevance to the journal’s scope.
7. Digital Object Identifier (DOI)
Each published article will be assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to ensure:
